Los Lobos is a Mexican American rock band that formed in 1973 in East Los Angeles, California. They gained international fame in 1987 with their hit rendition of "La Bamba," which topped the Billboard Hot 100 and brought them widespread recognition. Over the years, their music has been covered by notable artists such as Elvis Costello and Robert Plant. Los Lobos has been nominated for twelve Grammy Awards, winning four, and they were inducted into the Austin City Limits Hall of Fame in 2018.
