Why Go

Dublin five-piece GURRIERS delivers their debut album Come and See with pent-up rage and political awareness. Their sociopolitically conscious post-punk agitates in all the right ways, channeling the anger of late-capitalist reality into cathartic noise that represents young Irish anger finding its voice through scorching guitar work.

About the Artist

Gurriers is an Irish indie rock band from Dublin, formed in 2020. The group consists of Dan Hoff (lead vocals), Ben O'Neill (guitar, backing vocals), Mark MacCormack (guitar), Pierce O'Callaghan (drums), and Charlie McCarthy (bass). Known for their raw and energetic sound, they blend elements of alternative rock, punk, and shoegaze. During the pandemic, Gurriers took the opportunity to refine their vision, collaborating over Zoom to develop a powerful, abrasive sound. Their debut album, "Come and See," captures a mix of raucous reflection and catchy melodies, tackling themes that resonate beyond their local scene.

Playing at Brick & Mortar Music Hall, an intimate venue in the Mission with a capacity of just 200, is a perfect match for Gurriers' energetic style. The close quarters will allow the audience to fully engage with their dynamic sound and raw emotion, creating an unforgettable live experience.
